Case Competition Bootcamp: The Basics

September 19th, 6:00PM-9:00PM Room MB 6.240

The first seminar will introduce students to the basics of case competition, we will walk through all competitions planned for the year, how do case competitions work, what are different formats, how to enter a team, then read through a short case and warm everyone up with some activities on how to analyze a case, how to read a case as well as tip and tricks for case competitions. 

 

 

Case Presentation Bootcamp  

September 30th, 6:00PM-9:00PM Room MB 6.240

The second seminar will introduce students to the basics rules of case presentations, what to do and what not to do. This session will be activity based to put you in a challenging zone and bring out the best of your abilities in presentations. Parallel to this session, those who wish to compete at different case competitions can do the try-outs session where they will present in front of a panel of judges and be selected to be part of the team for the year 2015-2016. 

 

2016-2017 Team Try outs! 

 Apply, try-outs will be held from 12:00PM-4:00PM.

Those who wish to compete at different case competitions can do the try-outs session where they will present in front of a panel of judges and be selected to be part of the team for the year 2015-2016. 

 

Case Simulation Bootcamp

The third seminar will simulate everything you have learnt from the 2 previous sessions by going through a real time 3 hours case challenge , where students will present to a panel of judges, be confronted with Questions and Answers and compete against other teams. 

 

 

Case Research Bootcamp

Scheduled for Winter 2017

The fourth seminar, which will be introduce much later in the year will guide students on how to research data and information from different resources. Since many competitions are research based, this is definitely an important seminar to attend.
